The three news organizations, CBC, Radio-Canada and The
Canadian Press, teamed up to undertake a multimedia analysis of
Taser stun guns and particularly their use by the RCMP.
The Michener Award, founded in 1970 by the late Right
Honourable Roland Michener, then Governor General, goes to a
news organization. The Michener Award is presented annually for
journalism that makes a significant impact on the public good.
